Local Initiative for Family and Education
L.I.F.E. Tanzania is a nonprofit foundation supporting families living in poverty. The project was founded in Arusha in 2020.
The Community Center
Its heart is a community center where families come together and receive support with health, nutrition, childcare and education. It includes daycare, afterschool care, warm meals, English language training, tutoring and meaningful leisure activities. Long-term plans include women’s aid, social housing and additional educational programs.

L.I.F.E. follows a holistic, sustainable concept for the whole community. We know the founders personally and stay in close contact.
How we support L.I.F.E.
We fund the construction of the Community Center and continuously support the Afterschool Center.
